Our campaign seeks to provide a safe space where athletes can speak about their trauma and gain support to begin their healing journey. We work alongside a team of psychotherapists and psychologists who have first-hand experience of abuse in gymnastics, to provide the therapeutic resources that have been missing to date. In January 2024 Gymnasts for Change became a registered charity in the UK and received a significant grant from a human rights funder to facilitate our survivor led advocacy and support. In spring 2024 we will be launching a range of new community programmes, advocacy & support services. Part of our work will be the development of a brand new membership website to connect survivors in the sport and champion peer to peer campaign and advocacy activities with the aim of transforming the culture of the sport world wide.
Sign up to our mailing list to be part of this exciting next phase of development for our movement.
